Tucker Bailey’s sculptures and paintings are strongly influenced by her life experiences. Raised in Minnesota along the rugged shores of Lake Superior, she developed a love of nature and animals. Rather than coloring in books, she preferred doing her own drawings, her first, horses grazing in a field. Early on, horses became an important part of her life and remain so. Finding sculpture particularly fascinating, she took a job at a foundry where she learned the art of casting a bronze sculpture.
