About us

 • creaturesall reaches families that can and wish to make choices that positively affect the future of our planet. Literacy issues are held in high regard, as children and adults of all ages are encouraged to ‘Read, then Write’.

• creaturesall is essentially a storytelling venue. creaturesall authors are encouraged to approach their submissions as if they were sharing their thoughts and observations with a group of friends over a glass of wine. Use of  humor, insight and irony are urged.

• creaturesall readership ranges in age from elementary school age children to senior citizens; all of whom share a common interest in animals, both domestic and wild, and a concern for the future of our planet. We are, above all, a family magazine.

‘Education by Ambush’ creaturesall has always had a strong literary focus through encouraging families to read together and then write about their own creature experiences. The internal filter I use when deciding which stories warrant publication requires me to envision a parent or grandparent reading the stories to a young child sitting on their lap. If the story passes that litmus test then it moves through the editing process. Underlying all of our story submissions is a simple desire to share what is good and positive in human/animal relationships. By exploring the magic of the animal kingdom through passionate storytelling, a respect for all creatures is fostered.
